Very Sexy Orchid arrived in 2020 as the woody floral of the Very Sexy family. Lush blackcurrant opens it alongside citrus and pink pepper, orchid and orris grow through the heart, then deep santal is softened by sheer patchouli in the base. Victoria's Secret pitched it as an exotic orchid in a moonlit wood, and it does read darker and more grown-up than the fruitier flankers.

How it wears
The tart blackcurrant and peppery opening gives way to a smooth, powdery floral heart fairly quickly. The dry-down is where it settles for good, warm sandalwood with a clean, restrained patchouli behind it rather than an earthy one. Suits autumn and winter, and works better for evenings than for the office.
