The Polo line has been running since 1978 and the four main colours are completely different fragrances, not variations on a theme. Choosing between them is easier once you know what separates them.

Polo Green is the 1978 original and still the boldest: pine and herbs opening onto leather, tobacco leaf and oakmoss. It belongs to an era that made fragrances to be noticed, and it smells like nothing else on a shelf today.

Polo Blue is the opposite, a cool aquatic of melon and cucumber over sage and washed suede, built for warm weather and easy to wear at work.

Polo Black sits in the middle, opening on iced mango and mandarin before settling into tonka bean and patchouli. It is the most versatile of the four.

Polo Red is the sweetest and loudest, with grapefruit and cranberry over saffron, redwood and an unusual coffee berry note.
