Dior Sauvage

Sauvage exists in three concentrations and they are not simply stronger versions of one another. They are separate compositions by the same house, and the difference matters more than the name suggests.

Sauvage Eau de Parfum (2018) takes the raw, open-air character of the original Eau de Toilette and warms it. Calabrian bergamot and Sichuan pepper open it, and Papua New Guinea vanilla with ambroxan gives it weight on the skin and presence after dark. It is the most versatile of the line: fresh enough for daytime, rich enough for evening.

Sauvage Parfum (2019) is the richest and least citrus-driven. Bergamot and mandarin pass quickly, Sri Lankan sandalwood takes over, and a base of olibanum, tonka bean and vanilla gives it a smoky, resinous warmth the Eau de Parfum does not have. Firmly an autumn and winter fragrance, and it needs fewer sprays.

Every bottle is set aside from our own wholesale shipments and inspected individually before packing.
