Alien Hypersense is a 2024 reworking of Mugler's Alien, composed by Dominique Ropion, the perfumer behind the 2005 original. It keeps jasmine sambac as the signature but opens with green mandarin and juicy pear, then settles on a warm, woody cashmeran base. The result is a brighter, fruitier and more modern take on the floral than the original. The bottle is the refillable Alien shape in a color-shifting ultraviolet lacquer.

How it wears
Opens crisp and juicy, with green citrus and pear up front. Jasmine takes over the center and stays rich without turning heavy. It dries down to a smooth, warm, woody musk. The fruit makes it livelier than the original Alien, so it works well for daytime, the office and evenings out.
