Obsession was created by Calvin Klein with perfumer Jean Guichard and released in 1985. It is an oriental spicy fragrance for women with a fresh opening of mandarin, bergamot and lemon. The heart brings jasmine, rose and spices, and the base holds amber, musk and vetiver.

How it wears
Opens fresh and fruity with citrus and basil before the spiced floral heart takes over. It dries down warm and resinous with amber, musk and oak moss. A fuller, more sensual scent that suits evenings and cooler weather.

Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum carries a higher concentration of fragrance oil than Eau de Toilette, so it sits closer to the skin for longer and develops more slowly through the day.
