Boucheron Pour Homme, launched in 1991, is a citrus aromatic for men. It opens with lemon, bergamot, lavender and basil, runs through a floral heart of rose, jasmine and carnation, and settles on oakmoss, vetiver and sandalwood. It is a classic, clean style of men's cologne.
Fragrance notes
Top: Lemon, lemon verbena, bergamot, lavender, orange, basil, mandarin orange
Heart: Carnation, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, orris root
Base: Oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood, incense, musk, benzoin, amber, tonka bean
How it wears
Opens sharp and citrusy with lavender and basil, then softens into a floral, slightly spicy heart. The base is woody and mossy, and it stays fairly dry. Suits spring and summer, and daytime and office wear.
Size and concentration
Eau de Toilette. Eau de Toilette carries a lighter concentration of fragrance oil than Eau de Parfum, so it opens bright and fades sooner, and is easy to reapply through the day.
