Mugler Angel Eau de Parfum Spray for Women

Angel was released in 1992 by Olivier Cresp and Yves de Chiris, and it is generally credited as the first modern gourmand fragrance. Bergamot and red fruit open it, but the character comes from praline, caramel and vanilla built over a heavy patchouli base. It is sweet, dense and unmistakable, and it projects strongly, so a light hand is sensible.

How it wears

A short fruity opening gives way quickly to the praline and caramel heart, with earthy patchouli running underneath from the start and taking over as it dries down. Cold weather suits it best, since heat pushes the sweetness forward. An evening fragrance more than a daytime one.

Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum carries a higher concentration of fragrance oil than Eau de Toilette, so it sits closer to the skin for longer and develops more slowly through the day.
